HENRY L. GABELNICK, Ph.D. Executive Director, CONRAD (703) 524-4744 hgabelnick@conrad.org Dr. Gabelnick joined CONRAD at its inception in 1986 and has been its director since 1990. He is also a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at EVMS. Dr. Gabelnick received his B.S. in 1961 and M.S. degrees in 1962 from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and his Ph.D. in 1966 from Princeton University. After a few years of industrial experience, he joined the Biomedical Engineering Branch at NIH where he worked in the intramural laboratories for a number of years. After a 6-month detail to the United Nations Industrial Development Organization in 1973, he joined the Contraceptive Development Branch at NIH, where he stayed until joining CONRAD. Dr. Gabelnick has served on panels of the National Research Council, many institutes of NIH and WHO, and on the editorial boards of several journals. He has edited several proceedings of meetings he has helped organize. He currently serves as President of the Society for the Advancement of Reproductive Care.   « Back to GMP Staff page
